An Excellent Place to Stop for Some Food and Coffee

Browns is a very popular venue for lunch, dinner, cocktails and a great place to enjoy coffee during the day.

Spread across two different buildings, this Brighton bar and restaurant has been in the city since 1973 (the very first in the Browns chain) and it remains as one of the places to go and hang out in the whole of Brighton.

Located in the South Lanes, Browns is an ideal venue to stop off at while shopping, it is positioned half way between the sea and the station, plus it is close to the theatre, the Royal Pavilion and the Brighton Dome.

Not as good as it used to be. Used to be one of the places to eat and drink in Brighton.

Went here for our Christmas party last week. I thought this place was going to blow my mind but it didn’t.

Ordered meals at £20+ with my friends and we were chatting for other 2 hours. After 2 hours a member of staff asked us to order something else or to leave the place in 30 minutes. We started to get ready 15 minutes later because they switched a ceiling ventilator on a very high speed..we were freezing! Very rude and immature. Although some food is ok the value for money is awful.. chicken is very dry, I cook so much better. Will never ever come back again even if someone pays me for the visit. Browns reputation and my night are RUINED!

Time : breakfast at 10am 7 days a week and serves a menu of light snacks, afternoon tea, coffees and teas throughout the day, as well as drinks. The bar opens at 11am every day.
